Dr. Edward J Sarti's post medical school training included a year at Mt Sinai Medical School in New York City, two years of general surgery at the Robert Wood Johnson- UMDNJ campus, and then four years at the renown New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. On graduating, he was a clinical professor of Otolaryngology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary for 2 years. As a resident, he published several articles in otolaryngologic journals, coauthored a chapter on fungal sinusitis and presented to the prestigious Triologic society. He then started the practice in Rutherford, New Jersey in 1988. He is surgical attending at Hackensack University Medical Center and Meadows Surgical Center in Rutherford. During the years, he has been Chairman of Otolaryngology at Passaic General Hospital, St. Mary's in Passaic and Meadowlands Hospital. He is now a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Sarti's scope of practice includes medical and surgical otolaryngology for both adults and children. This includes stereotactic image guidance sinus surgery, thyroid, parotid and head and neck cancer surgery as well as snoring and sleep apnea surgery. He has been selected as a top doctor in the New York metropolitan area as well as listed in the top physicians guide multiple times.
