Sherif Hassan, MD
Dr. Sherif Hassan received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2002. He completed a surgical internship and subsequent otolaryngology head and neck surgical residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2007. Dr. Hassan is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Heck & Neck Surgery.
Dr. Hassan treats patients of all ages and specializes in the medical and surgical management of various diseases of the head and neck including ear infections, dizziness, throat infections, sleep apnea, nasal obstruction, sinus diseases, allergies, salivary gland disorders, head and neck cancer, and thyroid and Parathyroid disorders. He has expertise in state of the art image guided sinus surgery, coblation tonsillectomy, and nerve monitoring techniques for treating parotid and thyroid tumors.
Dr. Hassan is on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center, Meadows Surgery Center, and Saint Mary's Hospital in Passaic and Mountainside Hospital. He is a clinical instructor for both medical students and residents. Dr. Hassan is available to see patients in the Rutherford, Secaucus and Clifton offices.
